Hey - I asked for a GUITAR.
Beat me, whip me, tie me down and make me play an Ovation.
This document would be hilarious at Ovation headquarters.....after all, what could they
do? Send me an Ovation?
The Ovulation Adamas: Illegitimate offspring of a Mandolin and a Surfboard.
From the rear, it looks like a pear with a 2x4 jammed in top.
There is something about a guitar that is made out of the
same material as the case that bothers me.
Avoid speeding tickets..
THE FUR REALLY FLEW: The radical activist group People for the Ethical Treatment of
Animals recently unveiled two ads to support their cause. One pictured River Phoenix (who
died of a drug overdose last year) with the caption "I Wouldn't Be Caught Dead in
Fur"; the other pictured Kurt Cobain (who shot himself in the head with a shotgun in
April) with the caption "You Need Fur Like You Need a Hole in Your Head". But
when the families of the dead celebrities complained about the ads, they were dropped.
(AP) ...Tell you what: I'll treat animals with at least as much respect you show to
people.
Actually, Charlie Kaman lives five minutes from me. He's really a fabulous person, who
enjoys "pick'in" with anyone and everyone !
He plays a Guild !...Bahahahahahaha !! !
I have an Ovation. I bought it in 1977, the first time I had to send my Martin D18 in for
neck work; at least I was able to practice for the two months it took to get my real
guitar back.
Now I take it to music festivals. No-one ever asks to borrow it and it hasn't been stolen.
When spaced-out metal-heads ask if they may play my guitar, I walk past my Lowden and my
wife's Santa Cruz to hand them the Ovation. Most of them don't seem to notice the
difference.
The list is never complete without your input.
